Cave Story Deluxe is a package that does not only include the game Cave Story, but also a series of programs related to the game like a manual, a level editor, a mini-game and other complementary stuff. Cave story is an easy 2D platform game in which you play a little boy that has to open doors while avoiding or killing enemies. You are in constant search for quests and story-related missions that should be completed. The graphics are really simple but nice, and the characters look different and have different personalities and ways to kill you. Although the game looks pretty old and has an annoying music, the gameplay is very well done and includes very simple controls. The game also offers 2 different endings and a lot of secret weapons to discover in the game process. Cave Story is definitely a game for the whole family that will keep you playing for hours. Regarding the other programs that come in the package, I found them rather useless and boring, but maybe you will like them. Cave Story Deluxe is perfect for a boring day or when you need to kill some time. |
